Yoko Ono recently accepted an award on behalf of John Lennon. During her acceptance speech, she talked about John lamenting the fact that people did not cover his songs, only Paul's. Yoko, ever the defender of her beloved John, imparted that she reassured him by reminding John that Paul wrote songs like"June is the spoon," while John wrote complicated, thoughtful and intricate songs and people were too intimidated to cover them. ( Think "I am the eggman...Koo koo Ka choo")
In forty years, these people have failed to gain any emotional maturity or insight into themselves or others. Paul and John (in the guise of Yoko) are still standing on the playground taunting each other and saying, "Yeah? Well, my dad can kiss your dad's a s s."
What is shocking is that suddenly the Rolling Stones seem like the mature, responsible band; as do Aerosmith, Kiss and the Chili Peppers.
But I think Yoko's shot at Paul paid off. Dolly Parton just covered "IMAGINE" on national TV. I am sure that John is ever so happy that Yoko's whining brought about that result. DOLLY!!!
I only love Paul...Paul of the message board, no the Beatles.

Why would one of them brag to the other that their father could "kiss" the other father's rear? I don't know if I have actually ever heard that taunt, and I have been around kids a long time.
